I worked with a team on the iOS and Android SDK for medical devices, specifically designed for glucose scanning in diabetes patients. Our collaborative efforts involved incorporating Scrum, Git flow, thoughtful code reviews, and a "API" design-first approach in a multinational remote team environment. We implemented extensive testing using Gherkin scenarios written during the design phase. Notably, our development process underwent FDA review and received approval for adhering to best practices in medical software development. On a personal level, my involvement began with existing iOS apps. Subsequently, I developed a small example iOS app and later worked on creating a Kotlin SDK closely aligned with the iOS counterpart, developed by another team member. This included crafting an example app that utilized the newly developed SDK.
